GameSoundCon Speakers And Attendees To Be Interviewed For Documentary Beep

New film documents game sound & music from the mechanical arcades through to today's orchestras

Los Angeles – September 29, 2014 - Karen Collins, the leading and most prolific academic in game audio, will be bringing her film crew to GameSoundCon, the premier game music and sound design conference, to cover the event and to interview attendees and speakers for the kickstarter-funded documentary, “Beep: A Documentary History of Video Game Music and Sound”.

“With several different tracks for professional composers and sound designers, GameSoundcon is the ideal gathering to get a chance to talk to the elite in video game sound”, says Collins. “Just look who’s going to be there: the composers and sound designers for games like Halo, Destiny, BioShock II, Skyrim, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Forza. People like Marty O’Donnell, Garry Schyman, Grammy-Nominee Austin Wintory, Paul Lipson, and Steve Horowitz – they all really know the business and have great stories to tell.”

GameSoundCon 2014 will be held on October 7-8 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California. For a complete list of speakers, sessions and more information or to register for GameSoundCon, visit www.GameSoundCon.com.
