EastWest A Top Pick in SOS Strings Buyers Guide

Dave Stewart, who has become the virtual orchestra expert at Sound on Sound over the years, has picked EastWest's Hollywood Strings as a top pick in his String Instrument Buyers Guide, published in the June issue.

"EastWest/Quantum Leap Hollywood Strings is an acknowledged industry heavy hitter: recorded from seven microphone positions in EastWest's Studio 1 by engineer Shawn Murphy, the 312GB library contains full-blown symphony orchestra string sections totaling 57 players."
